A moratorium in press releases in the Guild Wars 2 press beta event has raised, and there is a ton of new information as well as videos! There's a lot of common information that isn't truly new to people who have already been following Guild Wars 2 for some time (much like me!) -- combat is thrilling, character creation provides extensive depth, dynamic occasions are cool. But there's a lot of new things, or more specific information on things that haven't been completely explored yet.

I am rounding up much of the data I've read. A lot of it will be quick and point-form, a lot of it will involve videos, plus some will have a bit of a write-up. Continue reading for all the new things!
First off, some small details I don't keep in mind seeing before, plus some thoughts from a few of the beta players:

Armour degrades with fatalities, requiring repairs.
Combat rocks !, and dedicated healers really feel unneeded not simply because everyone can heal successfully, but more since the combat system benefits intelligent play as well as positioning
You can play single just fine, but team play is an complete blast and very satisfying
Overflow servers mean that you are able to still play while you are waiting in a line
A low-level character bumped as much as high level for Player vs player can still function successfully and isn't overcome with new info, due to the simple ability system.
There are a LOT of accomplishments, ranging from kills in order to story progress in order to helping allies in order to exploring and accumulating. Check Guild Wars 2 Guru's video for any list of every present achievement.
There will be a vast number of minipets, just like the first Guild Wars.
Achievements provide you with a small reward to finish. Not sure if this will also apply to the Guild Wars 1 Corridor of Monuments accomplishments, but if it does, GW1 gamers will start out with the chunk of currency as well as the item rewards.
There tend to be codex collectibles that give a person in-game lore on creatures and NPCs.
Emotes can be geared to a specific character -- for instance, Frank waves from Steve.

The racial metropolitan areas look absurdly huge -- the human capital associated with Divinity's Reach in particular. Here is a video from Guild Wars 2 Expert showing just a few of Divinity's Reach's main areas: The biggest and many exciting bit of information to me is Guild Wars 2 Guru's breakthroughs regarding the guild system. It is fully functional, with astonishing depth. By becoming a member of a guild and actively playing the game, your guild makes influence -- the foreign currency for guild upgrades. The greater your guild socializes and performs together, the more impact your guild gains. You may also spend gold and finish specific activities to construct influence.

Interestingly, guild updates take time to complete -- you've got a sort of "build queue". You can spend impact to work on several upgrades at a time, in order to boost upgrade pace. The time it takes in order to "build" an upgrade can range through hours to times in real time.

Your guild may spend its affect on upgrades in 4 categories:

Politics: PvE enthusiasts and character updates, like guild-themed weapons as well as armour (I think)
Art associated with War: PvP enthusiasts
Economy: karma, encounter, and treasure enthusiasts
Architecture: guild bank as well as upgrades, ability to focus on multiple upgrades at any given time

We'll likely observe more in the way of updates and guild-related equipment in the future.
One unfortunate bit of news: there are body rate issues. Everybody seems to report difficulty even on powerful hardware, requiring configurations to be turned down. Kotaku additionally reports that after the event, the dev group gathered all the beta gamers together for a little finale -- about One hundred players or so. These people repeatedly killed players with trolls and things. Kotaku's Mike Fahey reports a few crashes, which he believes were caused by the amount of players on screen.

Guild Wars 2 continues to be in beta, though, and they are not rushing in the direction of a deadline -- all of us still don't have a recognised release date. I am confident that the body rate issues is going to be totally cleaned up when the game actually produces. I'd be really surprised if they were not still adding content material, so when they're lastly done and ready to toe nail down those insects, I imagine the sport will be very well enhanced, like the first Guild Wars.

And lastly, check out Massively's video collection of exploration, fight, and some great scenery.
This is the stuff We considered important to discuss, but if you're looking for much more information and movies, here are some other hyperlinks to check out:
